If we don’t heed the lessons of the past, we will be forced to relive them in the 21st century. As Albert Camus is wont to do, he’s captured the modern human crisis felt throughout the western world with moving prose. Viggo Mortensen’s deep admiration for Camus lends itself to a stirring and deserving reading of the original 1946 lecture.
